    Penduka

    Description:

    Penduka is situated at the Goreangab dam, 8 km outside of Windhoek and offers guests a unique place to enjoy their holiday with a beautiful view of a lake to boot. Accommodation sites at penduka are called rondavels.

    Penduka offers 6 rondavels which can accommodate 2 people and all the rondavels come with a spectacular view of the lake and an en-suite bathroom. Rates at penduka are as follows, a luxury room for 2 people is about 50 per night, and 27 per night for 1 person. A standard room for 2 people is 44 per night and 24 per night for 1 person. An extra bed can be put in the room on request at a fee of 10 per night. Room service is also offered at Penduka and guests can enjoy their ordered breakfast, lunch or dinner on the rondavels small but intimate terraces.

    There is also a backpackers hostel at penduka. There are 5 backpacker units and each unit has 5 beds, with a central bathroom. The cost for this is 10 per person per night.

    There is a campsite/bush-kitchen where guests can cook their own meals if they so wish, otherwise there is a beautiful restaurant where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner while taking in the view of the lake.

    Penduka provides pick up service to and from the airport for 25 per person.
